A host of activities and shows for all the family
The Children’s Festival, a traditional Christmas event
The Festival de la Infància or Children’s Festival, one of Catalonia’s best-established Christmas events, will be held between December 27 and January 4 at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona. For yet another year, around a hundred activities will be staged to help children embrace the values of good citizenship, solidarity, healthy eating, sport and environmental concern.
Creative, handicraft and cookery workshops will be available for the kids to enjoy along with magic shows, theatre and puppets, interactive games and a large variety of sports activities such as mini basketball tournaments, football at the Barcelona FC, +Kesport and Coca-Cola stands, an ice-skating rink, Open Camp experiences, a Monty and bike trial circuit and many more.
This year’s Children’s Festival will also include the Peppa Pig and Ben & Holly shows, the Great American Circus and activities run by the Open Camp theme park.
The prices will also be varied, to make the event affordable for all.
