The congress seeks to be a great agora where companies and students can come into contact
IN(3D)USTRY will host the AYRI11 robotics and automation congress
IN(3D)USTRY From Needs to Solutions has reached an agreement with AYRI11 for this automation and industrial robotics congress to be held within the framework of the Fira de Barcelona event on additive and advanced manufacturing. Organized by the main companies in the industrial robotics and automation sector, AYRI11 will bring together more than 20 international companies to offer around a hundred talks and mini-courses, thus becoming a point for exchanging knowledge and a platform for presenting future trends and solutions.
IN(3D)USTRY, the fair on additive and advanced manufacturing, to be held for the third time from 16 to 18 October at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue, will expand the range of contents on offer with the addition of AYRI11, the automation and industrial robotics congress. Under the slogan “Era 4.0”, the event will reveal some of the latest trends and developments in the sector, with live demonstrations and presentations of new products and services.
AYRI11, which has been held until now at the Tecnocampus in Mataró, will also host short practical courses to be conducted simultaneously on 16 and 17 October. They will be short-format sessions lasting 45 minutes, with small groups of a maximum of 15 people, thus facilitating proximity between the exhibiting companies and the public, mostly made up of young students. The congress not only seeks to promote professional links between companies, but also to ensure that the latter relate to young talents entering into contact with the university world and higher education.
Miquel Serrano, Director of IN(3D)USTRY, has expressed his satisfaction with the above agreement, “as it is a project for the future, as well as a very important step towards the consolidation of IN(3D)USTRY as a leading event on additive and advanced manufacturing, broadening its focus of interest to other closely related fields and sectors”.
As for Javier García, the founder of AYRI11, he states says that “after four successful events, it has grown considerably and needed a suitable setting, and IN(3D)USTRY is ideal”. García adds that “AYRI11 is a new format that combines information and training (in-training) for the user, with practical mini-courses and talks to showcase solutions for applications of automation and industrial robotics in the era 4.0”.
Beyond 3D
Together with this initiative, the third IN(3D)USTRY will increase its offer with the arrival of members of the sectors of robotics, moulds and matrices, new materials and plastic transformers, companies which will potentially use 3D printing. Once again the event will be structured around an arena where companies can share their experiences related to the digitization of their production processes, thus creating synergies with each other.
IN(3D)USTRY forms part of the Barcelona Industry Week, a brand which also includes the IoT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), an event devoted to the industrial Internet, and HEALTHIO, specializing in health and healthcare technologies. All three events, which share synergies and provide a platform for commerce and knowledge in a wide range of industrial sectors, will take place from 16 to 18 October at Fira de Barcelona.
