More than 230 brands have already confirmed their presence at the March event
Graphispag will be showcasing graphic and visual communication solutions live
Graphispag continues to win the loyalty of suppliers of machinery, technology, supports and materials for printing, who endorse the turnaround made by the trade show to transform itself into a showroom of graphic solutions and a platform of knowledge, with associated activities taking place all year round. The show’s main objective is to galvanize the market by providing a point of connection between manufacturers’ innovations, printing operations and the needs of new demand sectors. To date, more than 230 brands have confirmed their attendance of the forthcoming show – the leader in the graphic communications sector in Spain and Portugal – which takes place on 21-24 March at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via exhibition centre.
Organised by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the Graphispack Association, Graphispag 2017 has reinvented itself with a focus on printing applications, demonstrating in situ the creative possibilities, personalization, economic benefits, innovation in the design and creation of graphic products and services, and all the new business opportunities that it can generate.
The content of Graphispag will be structured around three main areas: the trade show zone; Graphispag Live, a showroom of graphic applications, workshops and knowledge-based activities; and networking sessions to encourage contacts between the representatives of the end demand sector and printers and suppliers.
Exhibitors will be showcasing technology, consumables and supports on their stands, along with real-life examples of completed graphic products. The brands will be able to answer any questions and offer personalised advice to visitors on the possibilities of their printing equipment and other material on display.
The organisers expect around 10,000 square metres to be occupied in Hall 2 of the Gran Via Exhibition Centre, housing over 300 brands.
Graphispag Live
Covering around 1,000 square metres, Graphispag Live will be the central space for the different training activities taking place as well as a showcase for the most advanced graphic applications.
The area will be divided into four different zones, each containing printing solutions for the publishing, packaging, textile, interior decoration, and retail sectors. Visitors can also take part in themed tours of these areas to learn about the techniques and materials used in all the graphic products on display. At the same time, there will be demonstrations of vinyl creation, large-format textile panelling, interior decoration, augmented reality, product personalisation and printing of T-shirts and packaging, amongst other products.
The world of design will also have its own dedicated area here. A working zone will be set aside for designers where they can print their designs and take part in the workshops organised by the brands.
There will also be conferences, presentations of success stories, exhibitions of new products, discussions and round tables on the graphic industry, and new applications. Subjects will include business models, technology, marketing, business management and the most innovative graphic products and services to attract new clients.
Finally, Graphispag will facilitate professional networking with areas dedicated to meetings between manufacturers, printers, influencers and end clients in the different demand sectors. The show will make a point of inviting professionals involved in packaging, retail, interior design, the publishing world, design, advertising, wide-format printing and other graphic services so they can explain their needs directly to the representatives of the graphic industry at the event.
