Graphispag is preparing its 2019 edition with more experiences around the printing industry
The trade fair will present all current graphic technologies, the most innovative graphic products, and more hands-on areas to try out printing possibilities. All this will be offered at Graphispag, which will be held from 26 to 29 March 2019 at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona. This emblematic event will focus on the power of personalisation, as well as the process of digitalisation of the graphic industry. This edition will place a greater emphasis on design.
Organised by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the Graphispack Association, Graphispag 2019 aims to bring together a wide range of printing and publishing technologies to produce graphic products for all different sectors. And, above all, to show the trends that are shaping the transformation of the graphic industry. The fair will focus on professional knowledge and networking with “inspiring” spaces so that visitors can have a first-hand experience of the added value provided by printing.
To do so, Graphispag will bring together all the key players involved in the creation, design, production and sale of graphic and visual products: manufacturers and suppliers of technology and materials, printers and graphic or visual communication companies, professionals from different industrial services using printed applications, graphic designers, and end-clients, among others. The fair that will be held in Pavilion 2 of the Gran Via venue is expected to bring together over 300 brands and 20,000 visitors.
Commitment to the growth of the sector
In 2019, Graphispag is evolving while remaining faithful to the successful model from the previous edition, which was well-accepted and changed the relationship with the client by focusing on printed products and created a platform to exchange information, contacts and experiences that extends beyond the duration of the show, and also reaches professionals from sectors that use printing.
The director of Graphispag, Jordi Magre, explained that the fair is expected to contribute to the growth of all areas of the graphic industry “by bringing together all printing systems, showing the latest innovations with practical examples, and identifying new business opportunities linked to graphic products resulting from the social, economic and technological transformation we are currently experiencing”.
In order to make it easier for companies to participate and to guarantee a greater return on their investment, Graphispag proposes a wide range of more flexible participation options, adapted to the needs of each exhibitor.
Areas and Contents
The fair will also expand its showroom –now called the Graphispag Experience– with all sorts of exhibitions of finished graphic products to present real cases of how to apply the most innovative types of printing in different sectors, as well as the interaction between graphic support and other technologies. This space will gain more relevance and it will be located at the entrance to the pavilion to make sure all visitors see it and interact with the proposals offered there.
There will also be a specific area dedicated to experiencing the personalisation of objects and spaces; multiple workshops on printing applications; a conference area to address specially the digitalisation of the printing sector, dynamic networking activities to facilitate contacts and collaboration among professionals, and multiple conventions. In addition, Graphispag 2019 will create a specific programme involving contents, activities and an exhibit area for graphic designers, a group of professionals with a growing presence at the fair.
Finally, Graphispag will expand its scope of action by participating in specialised meetings, events and single subject fairs together with technology manufacturers and suppliers as well as graphic services companies. According to Jordi Magre, the goal of “this Graphispag in motion is to introduce the possibilities of the graphic industry to multiple sectors, in order to increase the value and innovation of their products.” The next project on the schedule is the creation of an area of graphic services directed towards the editorial industry within the Liber fair that will take place in October.
