Around 40 Spanish companies are attending Alimentaria Mexico
Alimentaria Mexico, the country´s most important food and beverage show, is being held from June 3rd to 5th. Over 11,000 trade visitors are expected to attend. This year, around 40 Spanish’ companies are participating in the event in order to penetrate the Central American market.
Over 200 exhibitors from 20 countries, including Mexico, Spain, United States, Argentina, Chile, Thailand, Brazil, South Korea, Italy, Turkey, Japan, Greece, Poland and Portugal, are participating in Alimentaria Mexico, organised by Alimentaria Exhibitions and E.J. Krause.
17 provinces are participating in ICEX’s Spanish pavilion, featuring a wide range of agri-food products: sweets, pastas, coffee, alcoholic drinks, wines, vegetable and fish preserves, ready meals, oil, olives and charcuterie.
The Central American market is one of the main destinations of Spanish agri-food exports, amounting to 245 million Euros in 2012, according to ICEX (Spanish Foreign Trade Institute).
